How to get in PAVIA

By Airplane

Pavia is situated in Lombardy Region in Italy, near to Milan (35 km).

The city of Pavia is easily accessible from the airports of Milan (Linate, Malpensa Terminal 1 and 2) and Bergamo (Orio al Serio).

 

FROM MILAN

 

 

FROM BERGAMO 

 

 

The airport is not directly connected to Pavia, but it is close to Milan and Bergamo by bus (Highway) or train(Trenitalia).

By Train

Pavia can be rached in about 30 minutes by train from the railway stations of Milan (Central, Lambrate, Rogoredo, Greco Pirelli, Porta Garibaldi, North Bovisa) - more information on train schedules and routes can be found at the website Trenitalia.

By Car

From GERMANY and NORTHERN EUROPE:  

  • BRENNER
    From the Italian border: A22 towards VERONA - A4 in direction MILAN - A21 towards Turin and take exit BRONI - STRADELLA. Follow the signs to PAVIA.

  • GOTTARDO
    From the Italian border: A9 towards MILAN - west bypass of MILAN - A7 towards Genova and take exit BEREGUARDO - PAVIA NORD. Follow the signs to PAVIA.

From FRANCE, SPAIN AND PORTUGAL:

  • MONT BLANC
    From the Italian border: SS26 towards Aosta - A5 towards TORINO - Connection motorway A4 / A5 - A4 in direction MILAN - west bypass of MILAN - A7 in direction GENOA and take the exit BEREGUARDO - PAVIA NORD. Follow the signs to PAVIA.

  • FREJUS
    From the Italian border: SS335 / SS24 towards TORINO - Ring Road south of TURIN direction A21 - A21 in direction PIACENZA - MILANO A7 direction and take exit BEREGUARDO - PAVIA NORD.

          Follow the signs to PAVIA.

  • VENTIMIGLIA
    From the Italian border: A10 in direction GENOA - A26 and take the exit BEREGUARDO - PAVIA NORD.

         Follow the signs to PAVIA.

 

From EASTERN EUROPE:

  • BRENNER
    From the Italian border: A22 towards VERONA - A4 in direction MILAN - A21 towards Turin and take exit BRONI - STRADELLA.

         Follow the signs to PAVIA.

         From the Italian border: E70 / SS202 - A4 in direction MILAN - A21 towards Turin and take exit BRONI - STRADELLA.

How to reach the D-Site conference

The D-SITE conference will take place at the Museum of the Electrical Technology,  University of Pavia, in steet Adolfo Ferrata, 6 (Pavia, 27100).

By Bus

Once arrived at Pavia train station (Piazzale della Stazione) take one of the 3 local lines suggested following Pavia, V. Maugeri / V. Mondino direction; Pavia, V. S. Lanfranco Beccari Fr. 31 E 35):
